We bring with us experiences from many moves, across town or across the country, and we’ve developed some tried and true ways to divide and conquer those full closets, drawers, garages, and attics. We understand how hard it is to let go, but we also know that sense of freedom that comes from minimizing the clutter.

What We Do:

We act as companions, coaches, and cheerleaders supporting you through the process of rightsizing. We act as both coach and cheerleader.  We will:

• We’ll draw a floor plan for your new location to help you identify what furniture to keep.
• Help you sort through your treasures clearly marking them for their impending relocation
• Be your concierge providing referrals and coordination for estate sales, consignments, appraisals, movers, and even cross-country shippers.
• Oversee the movers on moving day making sure each piece goes in the right room and your bed is made and ready on the first night. 

Meet our Downsizing Specialists:

Wendy Larimer is a freelance writer, Wendy recognized that there is more to life than sitting in front of a computer all day, and decided with dozens of moves under her belt, including one cross-country, she had a lot of moving experience to share. A minimalist first by necessity and now by choice, she embraces the peace that comes from a clutter-free existence and is anxious to help clients find the same through her organizational skills, endless patience, and enthusiasm.

Kris Sparks, downsizing specialist: a retired music educator in public schools and at the university level,  Kris has always enjoyed working with seniors, developing music programs in retirement communities. A lover of all things organizational, Kris helped her own parents with their downsizing process and has herself gone from a 3400 sq ft home to just over 1700 sq ft in the past few years.  She brings focused attention, a bundle of energy and a gentle humor into her work.

Meet our Realtor:

A certified Senior Real Estate Specialist licensed in both Oregon and Washington, Martha has always had a heart for working with seniors. Following the loss of her father and incapacitating injury to her mother, Martha was tasked with downsizing and selling their home, learning the enormity and stress of such a task. That experience informed her decision to collaboratively launch Paraclete Downsizing Support Services.  Currently the only way to work with Paraclete is to contract with Martha for the sale of your home. She will then cover the cost of Paraclete’s services.
